1. Miley Cyrus
This young lady is simply conceited and ignorant of her blessings – she is convinced her privileged life is due to her over abundance of talent. We would like Ms. Cyrus to know that she was lucky to have a pushy father and an entrance into the world of celebrity through Disney. This quote epitomizes the narcissistic world in which she lives, “I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they’re fashion. But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I’m on a whole other level… that those girls don’t even get because they don’t know how to do it.” Yikes, Miley – seriously – a couple twerks and now you’re a trend setter? Twerk again.
2. Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer might be multi-talented, but she is not publicly known for being a nice person. One might think this is because of the constant barrage for her attention, however what recently struck a chord and negative check point is she is now avoiding co-stars on sets of films she makes. Her assistant is instructed to tell the other actors and crew members not to talk directly to the actress, but instead, direct all communication through her. We think this is bad behavior and if there is a great reason behind it, we are certain there must be a more amicable and less snooty way to handle it. Wonder how she treats the other judges on American Idol? We’ve heard they are both in love with her.
3. Beyonce
Diva or not, there is little excuse for bad behavior. Yes, she is stunning, gifted and married to another power musician, but her insider reputation skews heavy on the negative side. Here’s a few reasons why: While she is on tour, it is mandatory that none of the local crew look at her, or even talk to her. In fact, if they see her coming they are asked to move the heck out of the way (in advance). Her diva-like ridiculous behavior doesn’t stop there. She insists on having white linen covering everything in sight. This includes the floor and after she walks on it, the crew smooths it out to make sure there won’t be any slips or falls.
4. Kanye West
It may not come as a shock to many that Kanye West deserves his spot, right after his new wife, Kim, on this list. The recently married singer has had many public incidents, proving that his behavior may need some adjustment. Of course, we all remember the Taylor Swift incident at the 2009 VMA’s, but this wasn’t the only time that Kanye ever caused some public wrath. He has reportedly caused disturbances at a series of other events. At a charity concert in September 2005, for Hurricane Katrina victims, Kanye rambled on and criticized the government’s actions in response to the disaster, during a one-minute long speech. Additionally, in September 2008, he was involved in a public paparazzi scuffle at LAX, when he seemingly went crazy and was arrested for vandalism and misdemeanor when he broke a paparazzi’s camera.
5. Kim Kardashian
There are always rumors about Kim accepting financially rewarding invitations to do things that she decides she doesn’t want to do when the time comes. She’s known, quite publicly, for asking mommy dearest to “call in sick or make some excuse”. Just a couple of months ago, she accepted $500,000 to escort 81-year-old Austrian billionaire, Richard Lugner to the Vienna Opera Ball. She was said to have spent most of the weekend with her mother, who accompanied her to Vienna and ended up being rude to Mr. Lugner, who started making jokes at her expense. We have two questions for Kim and her pushy mother. What was the thinking behind accepting a date for money while engaged to a mogul whose net worth is estimated at $120 million? And our question for Kanye – is publicity and extra cash worth giving your fiancee the thumbs up on taking that trip?
6. Christian Bale
Starting to be well known for his bouts of explosive anger, the buzz is that he screams, swears and has the emotional quotient of a child. It started around 2009, when publicity leaked out about his explosion on the set of Terminator: Salvation. There are audio clips that give harsh demonstrations that these aren’t just rumors. Bale speaks to members of the crew like they are complete incompetent idiots and belittles them for not living up to his expectations of how things should be handled. The foul expletives he used to berate a crew member in the audio clip make him sound even worse.
7. Sharon Stone
How does a one-hit wonder maintain such an entitled and diva attitude? She sees herself as so much more, possibly because her looks have carried her ever since the hot hit, Basic Instinct, where she played bad-girl, Catherine Tramell, to Michael Douglas’s Nick Curran. As for her acting skills, let’s just say it again. How does someone like this start believing in their own publicity (smoke and mirrors)? She is said to consistently treat people poorly as though they are beneath her, and that’s never gone over big with fans (if there are any left).
8. Kate Gosselin
Who would have thought that the former reality star and mother of eight, Kate Gosselin would make the cut on this list. It seems fame may have got to her head, as she is reportedly proving to be a controlling mother, a mean ex-wife and an all around diva. We obviously remember all the times where Kate was able to make selfish and inappropriate remarks about her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, but has she changed since the divorce? The answer is probably no, as she is still seen bashing Jon in various interviews, with one incident happening on Access Hollywood June 6, 2011. It looks like if Kate wants the best for her children and wants to show a good example for their future behavior, she’s going to have to start modifying her passive and aggressive attitude.
9. Katherine Heigl
Pretty girl, bad attitude. We think this star is at the end of her career, as no one seemingly wants to work with her anymore. After leaving Grey’s Anatomy with her diva attitude ready to set the film industry on fire, she had a few mild successes with 27 Dresses and The Ugly Truth. She is known to be demanding on set and “not worth it” in the industry. After all, she has never been a big box office draw. Recently, she was reported to be financially spent and was trying to raise $150,000 on an Indiegogo campaign to fund her new film’s distribution. We haven’t heard whether the campaign met its goals or whether we will be seeing her play a lesbian role in the film – Jenny’s Wedding.
10. Justin Bieber
Why do so many young men and women love the Biebs? He once looked like a 14-year-old kid with absolutely no sex-appeal and at 20-years-old, he is just finally growing out of it. Well, evidently, Justin’s DUI without a valid license didn’t help out much. To top it off, he was on prescription antidepressants, marijuana and a beer the night of the DUI drag race that took place at 4 a.m. Growing up in the spotlight can’t be easy, so we’re going to cut this young talent some slack until he reaches puberty… which probably means he’s only got a few months to change it around.
