Scores of youths on Thursday thronged the streets of Abuja protesting against the increasing bias against the Nigeria military on the fight against the insurgent group called Boko haram. The youths, who first assembled at the popular Eden garden and park at Uthako, later moved to the headquarters of daily trust newspaper complex, where they demanded the audience of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, who came out after some time to receive the protest statement from the leader of the youths, according to them, some newspaper agencies including the Daily Trust, Punch, The Nation, and Leadership newspapers are bias against the successes recorded by the military in the fight against boko haram. the leader of the youths pleaded with daily trust to shun partisanship and tow the line of professionalism in their reportage. The youths then moved to leadership newspaper complex, as we write this report, the protest is still ongoing at leadership newspaper headquarters in abuja.
